Alright, I'm back. Got a new hard drive myself. I don't think The Brick House Diner will get up this weekend. That's the name for the OY site. Not much to say, really. Made a layout for Kyoji. And if you see through it, kudos to you. Yui & Pam, you guys don't count because you already know. :-P I also added the link to Innocence Asunder in my blogs thing. Go check it out, he's gonna need some friends.

Last night in class I was informed that students only give you what you expect of them. So the kids that you believe can't do anything, won't. It's not that they can't, it's that they won't do what they don't have to. Set high expectations, and you get high results. I realized that I have just let some kids slip by in my class. One little girl who had no clue how to write her name always just put marks on the paper and smiled over it, because we gave up on her and she went off to play. So today, after only working with the girl for 15 minutes and constantly telling her that she was a smart girl who had pretty handwriting, the name "Ashley" appeared on that paper in her lovely little childlike scrawl. I fucking cried. But I refuse to keep failing these children as their teacher. I see now my mistake; I will rectify that problem. But I'm honestly so damn proud of Ashley, and I feel pretty damned accomplished myself.
Just so everyone knows, Pam's computer is broken again. I think she'll be sneaking online at work and in her sister's room, but just in case she hasn't posted where people can see or anything, there you go.
Updated my blog links too and put up the link to Rueger's new blog ^^v. She has another friend named Dani who's hosting her blog now, and god it looks so sweet. Who is that guy, anyway? ^^;;
I'm struggling with this HTML business. I think I did pretty good on the Sands page, and I know I need to transcribe more of the actual rp content. But I'm really wanting to work on the original yaoi archive. I have no clue for a layout. I want something that looks fun yet sophisticated. Something that can appeal to all possible genres of original yaoi. Also, I need a name for it. While OY, Baby! is a pretty neat name in my mind, it took a lot of my friends a long time to figure out what it stood for. Besides, it needs a name to match the layout. I'm really wanting to name it after an item or something. So if you sign my comments, please suggest something! It can be anything...
And yes, that little winter storm that has hit the south USA is freaking cold. ^^v
Casimir and Auley are calling me, so I better go write some.
